Selah Update !!!
We had our monthly OB visit today and Selah is right on track. Today was also our first appointment with my new and favorite Dr. Stuckey! She read over my file beforehand and knew we were pretty set on wanting a VBAC, so far Kaiser has been very anti-VBAC with me having a 2 Csetion history. She immediately began telling us about the risks involved with both Csection and VBAC deliveries and supported our decision to try a natural delivery. PRAISE GOD!!! I expressed my gratitude and she said that the doctor she met for lunch with before my appointment was the one to thank. He, Dr. Beecher, brought up recent medical journals supporting VBAC deliveries and swayed her decision. I truly believe God arranged that lunch and has blessed me with favor ( many of you know this has been a battle for me since the beginning.) We made a game plan on the delivery, Selah will be monitored and any signs of fetal distress and I am on the operating table no questions asked. I am totally fine with that, I just want a chance:) Drugs administered is a future discussion depending on how labor goes and they will not induce labor by any means. I have another ultrasound at my 36 weeks check up, if Selah is measuring anything near her sister Nevaeh's size then we will be forced to schedule a Csection (understandable). Let's pray for a normal size baby folks! As it stands my due date is October 26th, Selah is the one who will determine that though. We will be delivring at Zion Hospital in San Diego. Jason and I are thrilled, we are grateful for this opportunity and pray that there are no complications! Prayers are appreciated:)

5 Years of Wedded Bliss
July 30th 2005 I became Mrs. Jason Edward Winters the 1st! Not to sound cliche or anything, but it was the happiest day of my life and was soon followed by many more happy days. 5 years flew by and so much has happened during this time so I thought I would write a recap of a few highlights of our past 5 Years of Wedded Bliss.
July 30th 2005 We were married at Mountain View Community Church
After our Wedding Jason continued his new position as Worship Pastor at Mountain View Community Church and I transferred to San Diego Christian College to finish my BA in Education. We found out in February 2006 that we were expecting our first baby! Unplanned but we were so excited!
October 4 2006 Introducing Nevaeh Marie Winters
3 moths after the arrival of our daughter Nevaeh we found out we were expecting BABY #2 !!! Needless to say we were both shocked and overjoyed!
September 19th 2007 Introducing Trinity Elise Winters
During this time Jason became the new Youth/Worship Pastor at Mountain View Community Church while I continued working on my BA at SDCC. We were so blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive family, otherwise adjusting to the life of a new parent while starting a new job and going to school would have been nearly impossible to do.
May 8 2008 GRADUATION DAY!!! It wasn't easy but after 3 years at SDCC, 2 long spring semesters pregnant and 2 fall semesters full of online classes and newborn babies at home, I managed to graduate from SDCC with my BA in Education. I couldn't have done it without God, the love and support of my family, the counselors at SDCC and coffee! Shortly after graduation I was hired on at Mountain View Community Church as the Children's Ministry Director.
June 2009 Home Sweet Home After graduation Jason and I started saving and searching for a new home. In February we put in an offer on a home out in the acres and June 1st we became 1st time home owners. We feel so blessed to have found this home, it is perfect for ministry and for our growing family!
We spent the next several months fixing up our home and enjoying watching our girls grow. In March of 2010 we found out that Baby #3 is on the way. Selah Desirae Winters is due this coming October.
We are so blessed to be able to share in many exciting adventures as a family. We camp every year in the Eastern Sierras, visit Campus by the Sea in Catalina, we've visited family in South Carolina, Florida, Colorado and recently visited friends in Washington. We've had many day trips to Silverstrand, Disneyland, Wild Animal Park and more. My family is my life and I am so thankful that God blessed me with such a wonderful, godly, talented, humble, hardworking man. I love you Jason Winters, thank you for being such an incredible husband! I look forward to many more years of memories with you!

Our Little Selah
My birthday present to myself this year was a 4D ultrasound with the family to get a sneak peak at our baby girl Selah Desirae. Jason, Nevaeh, Trinity, my Mom, siblings, Nicole, Amber, Eli and my in-laws, Bob and Linda were all there to share in the experience. We arrived on time but the appointments were backed up, we patiently waited and have fun spending family time in the waiting room for about 45 minutes. Our tech's name was Shelly, she was AMAZING! She was so personable, funny, called Selah by name and really worked hard to get the perfect pictures for us. She explained every little detail to us, made little jokes when Selah was being a stinker and took lots of extra photos for us. This appoinment is a fun one, it's not all about measurements and fluids, it's all about baby! She did give us a few measurment specifics. Selah is measuring about 5 days ahead on her head and abdomen and a week ahead on the length of her legs. She is approximately 2.5lbs and shows signs of having a little bit of hair already:)She is also undeniably a girl, the picture was clear as day! Our girls loved seeing baby Selah and hearing her heartbeat. As a thank you for our patience they gave our girls a Teddy Bear with Selahs heart beat recorded in it! Nevaeh won't let it go! I must say getting the sneak peak made me all the more excited to meet my baby girl. I want to hold her and kiss her so badly! Here are just a few of my favorite shots. Baby's First Ultrasound off Black Mountain Road in San Diego gave our family an incredible experience and memories we will never forget!

Our Trip
Jason and I decided to take a family road trip vacation up the 395 and down the 5 this year. We had such an amazing time, our girls were troopers!
This is approximately the route we took. Our first stop was Lee Vinning, our favorite camping place ever! We camped in my in laws RV for 4 days, we went hiking, fishing, played games, and had a great time just spending time with the family. Something liked me a little more than I liked it... you guessed it, MOSQUITOES! First night I got bit under my eye and it swelled shut. Fun times:) This place is so beautiful, it's worth it.
After 4 days in Lee Vinning we headed on our 2.5 day trek up to Eatonville Washington to visit our good friends the Tumlins. Our car ride included movies, lots of singing, food stops and potty breaks. We made stops along the way just to enjoy the beauty.
This is the scenery on the 395...GORGEOUS!!!
We made it to the Tumlins on July 4th, tried making a pit stop to the Mt. St. Helens overlook but it was too cloudy to see anything:(
We did enjoy a fabulous night of fireworks on the Puget Sound, it was chilly but we had a blast!
Day 2 in Washington we headed to Northwest Trek, Eatonvilles version of the Wild Animal Park. The girls had so much fun seeing the animals and getting to know their new friend Ian.
Day 3 we went museum hopping in Seattle. First the Children's Museum, then we had fun playing in the fountain, visited the Science Center and ended with a few carnival rides. All three kids passed out before dinner.
Day 4 was another day at sea. We went crab fishing on the Puget Sound and caught 5! The girls absoluetly LOVED being on the boat!
Sadly we had to say goodbye to the Tumlin family and make the trek back home.
We spent 2 .5 long days on the road back home but we had a great time together as a family. Our girls are great travelers, I think I did ok for a 25 week prego mama. We are home safe and sound and are just getting back to the grind. Selah is doing great too, growing fast. I have another check up appointment next week! New belly pics soon I promise:)
